Moscow will host world golf celebrities at the Inteco Russian Open Golf Championship 2008. From July 24th till 27th,   Le Meridien Moscow Country Club, in Nakhabino, Moscow region will host Inteco Russian Open Golf Championship 2008. This is the third time already it has come as full - range event of PGA European Tour, one of the two leading world professional golf tours. The tournament‘s purse will comprise $ 2 000000. 160 players from 30 countries will compete in the tournament. Title partner of the tournament is CJSC Inteco.

Traditionally, the tournament will be hosted by Le Meridien Moscow Country Club owned by Main Administration for Service of Diplomatic Corps, GlavUpDK the entity under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. This is the only championship golf course in Russia complies with the world standard course for 18 holes. The course is rated among the 100 best golf courses in the world. The tournament is to play of 72 holes, 4 rounds with a players cut after the 2nd round.  Among tournament’s partners are Imperial Collection, BMW, and Rolex.

July 23rd, the championship will be opened with traditional Pro - Am tournament inviting to play sport and show business celebrities, as well as business and politics figures and a special world celebrity guest. Last year the most anticipated Pro-Am amateur player was famous American actor “Don Johnson, star of television shows “Miami Vice” and “Detective Nash Bridges”  ”. 
Along with the tournament schedule, a number of social events take place include, golf clinic for VIP guests, BMW test-drive and parties: Pro-Am Gala Reception in some of Moscow luxury venue, Cut party in Le Meridien Moscow Country Club and Gala dinner, organized by the tournament Title partner, CJSC Inteco.
